A responsible business contributes beyond its commercial activity. ERAM does this as part of the Kelmendi Group, channelling its social investment through and together with the Kelmendi Foundation rather than running scattered, ad-hoc giving. The result is community support that is coordinated, accountable and built to last.
Part of the Kelmendi Group
ERAM Group is part of the Kelmendi Group, and its community and social investment is delivered with the Kelmendi Foundation — the permanent philanthropic and endowment institution established by the Kelmendi family together with Kelmendi Holdings. ERAM and the Foundation are distinct legal entities: the Foundation is an independent, non-profit, public-benefit institution with its own governance and audited accounts, and any cooperation between them is conducted at arm's length. ERAM's role is that of contributor and delivery partner — financial contributions, in-kind supply, technical expertise and employee participation — while the Foundation sets strategy and decides where support goes.
Placing giving inside a permanent, professionally governed institution is a deliberate choice. It means community investment is coordinated rather than scattered, is accountable through the Foundation's own audited reporting, and is designed to outlast any single business cycle or decision-maker. The Foundation is inclusive, non-partisan and lawful in all of its activities, and ERAM applies the same standard to what it chooses to support.
Local employment and skills
The most direct contribution a company makes to its community is stable, skilled employment. As a multi-sector distributor serving contractors, industry and public buyers across the region, ERAM creates roles in sales, engineering, logistics and support, and invests in the technical skills those roles require. Apprentice, graduate and placement pathways help bring new people into the trade — the same well-informed trade base that keeps installed systems safe and efficient. Building that capacity locally, rather than importing it, is one of the most durable contributions a company can make to the region it operates in.
Education and community initiatives through the Foundation
ERAM concentrates its contribution where a distribution business can add more than money: technical skills, equipment, training capacity and employment pathways. Within the Foundation's strategic pillars, that focuses on a small number of priorities:
- Education, scholarships and vocational skills — including technical and STEM training.
- Youth development, employment and entrepreneurship.
- Energy and environmental performance in community facilities.
- Community and institutional development, including public spaces and local infrastructure.
Contributions can take the form of equipment and materials for Foundation projects, specification and engineering support for facilities, and training capacity drawing on ERAM's technical teams and brand partners. The scale and mix in any year depend on corporate approvals, financial performance and the Foundation's programme pipeline; specific programmes and figures are published as the Foundation formalises its activity.
Engagement with the trade and public institutions
Community contribution also runs through ERAM's everyday relationships. Working with installers, engineers and vocational trainers helps raise technical standards across the sector, and engagement with public institutions supports safe, efficient and well-specified building systems in the schools, health facilities and public buildings that serve communities directly. Employee volunteering and mentoring extend that engagement beyond the commercial relationship, letting ERAM's people contribute the expertise a distribution business has in abundance — technical knowledge, product familiarity and practical experience — rather than funding alone.
