01 — Why it matters

Four things that travel with authorised supply

These are not marketing distinctions. Each one has a practical consequence on a job, in a tender, or when something fails.

WARRANTY

A warranty that can be claimed

Manufacturer warranty is administered through the appointed distributor. Product bought outside that channel may carry a warranty that cannot be claimed in Kosovo, or that requires the unit to be returned to the country it was first sold in.

DOCUMENTATION

The paperwork a tender needs

Declarations of conformity, declarations of performance, test certificates and technical datasheets are issued against the supply chain. A contracting authority that asks for them will not accept a product without them.

SPARE PARTS

Parts held in the country

An authorised distributor holds spare parts and has an escalation route to the manufacturer. Without that, a failed component on a commissioned system becomes an import problem rather than a service call.

COMPLIANCE

Controlled products handled correctly

Some product groups are controlled. Fluorinated refrigerants require handling certification before release; protective equipment must be supplied with its declaration of conformity and instructions for use. Authorised supply applies those checks.

02 — How to check

Five questions worth asking any supplier

Ask them of ERAM as readily as of anyone else. A supplier who cannot answer all five is not selling you authorised product.

AskWhat a satisfactory answer looks like
What is your status with the manufacturer, and for which territory?A specific status — exclusive, official or authorised distributor — naming the territory. “We can get it” is not a status.
Does the appointment cover this product range? An appointment is usually for a defined range. A distributor authorised for air conditioning is not thereby authorised for every product the same manufacturer makes.
Who administers the warranty, and where?A named party in Kosovo, with a stated process. If the answer is the country of origin, the warranty is of limited practical use here.
Will you issue the conformity documentation with the order?Yes, with the order — not on request afterwards, and not a generic document unrelated to the batch supplied.
Are spare parts held in the country?A clear yes or no. Either is workable if you know it before you commission; neither is workable if you find out afterwards.
03 — Where ERAM stands

Our appointments, stated precisely

ERAM publishes the status and territory of each brand relationship rather than describing them loosely. The register below is the same one that generates the brand pages on this site.

BrandStatusTerritory and scope
HisenseExclusiveHisense HVAC and climate products · Republic of Kosovo
SystemairExclusiveSystemair ventilation and air-handling products · Republic of Kosovo
Toshiba Air ConditioningOfficial distributorToshiba air conditioning and climate products · Republic of Kosovo

The rest of the portfolio. ERAM carries more than forty brands across twenty sectors. Where a status is not published above, it has not yet been recorded in our brand-status register, and we will state the position on request rather than imply one. See the full brand portfolio.
04 — What we issue

What comes with an ERAM order

06 — If something looks wrong

Reporting a concern

If you are offered product presented as ERAM-supplied and something does not add up — documentation that will not be issued, a warranty route that cannot be explained, or use of the ERAM name you want to verify — tell us. We will confirm whether the supply came through us.

This page is general guidance on authorised distribution. It is not legal advice, and it makes no allegation about any named party.

05 — Catalogue listing and availability

A catalogue entry is not a promise of stock

ERAM classifies more than it holds, deliberately. Classification is a data decision and can be made in advance; supply is a commercial decision with agreements, stock and working capital behind it. Keeping the two apart is what lets the catalogue be built properly — and it is why a category appearing here means we can classify and quote it, not that every item is on the shelf.

Three things can be true of a listed item

  • In stockHeld and shipped from stockFast-moving lines carried at one or more of our six locations, for collection or scheduled delivery.
  • To orderCatalogue line, ordered inListed and priced, but not always on the shelf. Ordered against your requirement, with a lead time confirmed before you commit.
  • Made to specificationConfigured or manufactured to your dataMany B2B materials are cut, sized, coated or configured to the job — glass, ducting, cable, façade panels, tube. These are quoted against a specification or a bill of quantities and made after the order.

We will tell you which of the three applies before you order, rather than quote a lead time we cannot meet.

Why we say this out loud. A distributor that lets a catalogue imply stock wins the enquiry and loses the job. Naming the three cases costs nothing when the answer is “in stock”, and saves a programme when it is not.
