Community impact, delivered with the Kelmendi Foundation.
ERAM Group's corporate social responsibility is delivered through and together with the Kelmendi Foundation — the permanent philanthropic and endowment institution of the Kelmendi family and Kelmendi Holdings Ltd. Rather than run parallel charitable activity, ERAM channels its social investment into one professionally governed institution, so that giving is coordinated, accountable and durable.
One institution, rather than scattered giving
A responsible business contributes beyond its commercial activity. The question is how. ERAM's answer is to place its community and social investment inside a permanent institution with its own governance, rather than to run ad-hoc donations from the operating company.
Coordination
A single programme across the group achieves more than the same money split across companies. Contributions are pooled, prioritised and directed to where the need and the capability meet.
Professional governance
Decisions are taken by a Board of Trustees and specialist committees against published policies — not by individual discretion inside a trading business.
Permanence
The Foundation is designed to operate in perpetuity, with endowment assets intended to outlast any single decision-maker, business cycle or generation.
This is the social dimension of ERAM's wider sustainability and ESG framework. Community sits alongside Planet, People, Partners, and Ethics & compliance as the fifth pillar — and is the pillar delivered in partnership with an institution outside the operating business.
Separate institutions, one shared purpose
ERAM Group and the Kelmendi Foundation are distinct legal entities with distinct mandates. The relationship is structured so that neither compromises the other.
| Dimension | Position |
|---|---|
| Legal separation | The Foundation is an independent, non-profit, public-benefit philanthropic institution with its own statutes, governing bodies and audited accounts. ERAM Group is an operating company. Neither is a department of the other. |
| Basis of dealing | Any cooperation between the Foundation and group companies — including ERAM — is conducted at arm's length and in line with the Foundation's conflict-of-interest and governance policies. |
| ERAM's role | Contributor and delivery partner: financial contributions, in-kind supply, technical expertise and employee participation. ERAM does not direct the Foundation's grant decisions. |
| Foundation's role | Sets strategy, appraises and selects programmes, disburses and monitors, and reports on results against defined indicators. |
| Approvals | Contributions from group companies are subject to law, corporate approvals, financial performance and the Foundation's statutes. |
| Non-partisanship | The Foundation is inclusive, non-partisan and lawful in all of its activities, and avoids reputationally or politically exposed engagements. ERAM applies the same standard to what it supports. |

Eleven pillars, four ERAM priorities
The Foundation organises its work around eleven permanent strategic pillars. ERAM's own contribution concentrates where the business can add more than money — technical skills, equipment, training capacity and employment pathways. Those four priority pillars are highlighted below.
Four channels of contribution
ERAM's support is designed to use what a distribution business actually has: capital, product, technical people and employment pathways.
Financial contribution
Corporate contributions and participation in the Foundation's dividend contribution programme, subject to law, corporate approvals and financial performance.
In-kind supply
Equipment, materials and technical product for Foundation projects — heating and cooling, electrical, plumbing, safety equipment and building materials.
Technical expertise
Specification and engineering support for Foundation facilities, and training capacity for vocational programmes drawing on ERAM's technical teams and brand partners.
People & pathways
Employee volunteering, mentoring, and apprenticeship and placement routes for graduates of Foundation-supported education and vocational programmes.
These channels describe the intended operating model. The scale and mix of contribution in any year depends on corporate approvals, financial performance and the Foundation's programme pipeline.
Controls that apply to every pillar
Corporate giving carries real governance risk — conflicts of interest, misdirected funds, safeguarding failures and reputational exposure. The following controls apply across the Foundation's work and to ERAM's participation in it.
Safeguarding
Protection of children and vulnerable people in every programme that involves them, with safeguarding requirements applied to partners and delivery organisations.
Non-discrimination
Inclusive access to programmes regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender or political affiliation, in a region where that commitment has to be explicit.
Anti-fraud & anti-bribery
Grant and procurement controls consistent with ERAM's own anti-corruption framework and ISO 37001 principles.
Conflict of interest
Declared and managed conflicts where group companies are counterparties, with related-party dealings conducted at arm's length.
Donor due diligence
Anti-money-laundering and donor due-diligence checks on contributions received, protecting the institution's independence and reputation.
Data protection
Beneficiary and applicant data handled in line with the Kosovo Law on Personal Data Protection (Law No. 06/L-082), which is aligned with the GDPR.
ERAM anti-corruption policy
The group-wide policy that governs ERAM's own conduct, including in charitable and sponsorship activity.

The Kelmendi Foundation was established by the Kelmendi Family together with Kelmendi Holdings Ltd. to create lasting, measurable and inter-generational positive impact for society. Headquartered in Prishtinë, it begins its work in Kosovo and across the Western Balkans, with the deliberate ambition to grow into an institution of European and, ultimately, global reach.
Its operating philosophy extends beyond traditional grant-giving. Within a single institution it integrates direct humanitarian assistance, structured grant-making, impact investing and endowment management, research funding and institution-building, community development, ESG and CSR implementation with group companies, and mission-aligned social entrepreneurship. It is designed to exist in perpetuity.

Community activity is reported on two levels: the Foundation reports on its own programmes and finances, and ERAM reports its contribution within the group sustainability report.
Foundation disclosures
Audited financial statements in EUR, an annual report and impact report, a governance report, a grant report and an investment summary. Each pillar and major programme defines objectives, indicators, baselines, targets and verification methods, so outcomes rather than only outputs can be measured.
