Operations

The Group operates ISO 14001:2015 certified environmental management across all six locations. Scope-1 and scope-2 emissions inventory is in baseline year 2025 with formal reporting from 2026 forward. Scope-3 inventory work, focused on category 11 (use-phase emissions of distributed products), begins 2026.

Refrigerants

Refrigerant stewardship is the single largest lever ERAM holds on the environmental footprint of products sold. The R32 transition across the HVAC catalogue, the F-Gas-compliant handling protocols across our warehouses, and the reclamation programmes for legacy R410A and R22 inventory in the field, together represent more carbon reduction than every other measure combined.

ERAM operates F-Gas certified handlers (EU 517/2014) at every warehouse and trade counter. Refrigerant cylinders are stored in HVAC-conditioned reefer enclosures at our Mitrovica distribution centre. Recovered refrigerant is delivered to a certified reclaim partner.

Lower-carbon products

Where the customer's brief permits, ERAM defaults to the lower-carbon product. For HVAC-R that means R32 over R410A, heat pumps over direct-electric or fossil-fuel heating, and inverter-driven over fixed-speed equipment. For energy, the solar PV and storage sectors are the explicit decarbonisation play. For lighting, LED is the default; ERAM does not stock equivalent-output halogen replacements.
