About the role
The Senior HVAC Specifier sits between ERAM's commercial team and the engineering offices of our customers. The role exists because winning HVAC scopes on hotel, hospital, and large commercial projects requires real engineering — Excel-grade load calculations, manufacturer-specific selection software, EN 378 and F-Gas compliance reasoning, and lifecycle commercial analysis — delivered in the conversation, not as a follow-up email two days later.
What you will do
- Lead HVAC specification on multi-million-euro mechanical scopes from RFQ through to project award.
- Run capacity, load, and refrigerant-charge calculations in Hisense, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and Daikin selection software.
- Author technical responses to consultant queries; defend specifications at design-review meetings.
- Co-author technical content for ERAM360 with the marketing team.
- Train the commercial team on technical talking points for new product families.
- Travel within Kosovo and the region (approximately 25%) for project meetings.
What we are looking for
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Five-plus years in HVAC specification, pre-sales engineering, or consulting engineer roles.
- Working knowledge of EN 378, EU F-Gas Regulation (517/2014), and current ASHRAE practice.
- Familiarity with at least one major manufacturer selection software.
- Fluent Albanian and English. Serbian or German welcome.
- The temperament to disagree with a consulting engineer over coffee, defend the position, and keep the relationship.

Process
Initial screening call with our People team. Two technical interviews — one with the CTO, one with a panel including a senior commercial colleague and an engineer from a recent project. A short take-home specification exercise on a real (anonymised) project. Final conversation with the CEO. We aim to give a decision within three weeks of the first call.
